Hand work to a coding agent and follow every step it takes.
What it does
New task opens a draft where you describe a job and pick the agent, model, effort, permission mode and where it runs. Nothing starts until you send it, and from then on the same panel is the task’s chat, with the transcript, live tool calls, approval cards and a stop button. Every New task opens its own draft, so you can write several side by side.
Good for
Handing a bug fix or a feature to Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor or Antigravity
Answering an agent’s requests as cards instead of prompts buried in a terminal
Writing several tasks before starting any of them
How to add it
Press Cmd/Ctrl+I anywhere in Deska, or pick New task in the Panel Library. A task runs on a coding agent CLI installed and signed in on that computer, so you need at least one.
