YouTube

Media

Pin a video or live stream beside your work.

What it does

The YouTube panel opens the player itself, not the watch page: no masthead, no comments and no sidebar of suggestions, edge to edge with no address bar. Paste a video, a short, a live stream, a playlist or a bare video id, and a link with a timestamp starts where it points. If the uploader has blocked embedding, the panel falls back to the watch page on its own, and playback pauses while the panel is scrolled out of view.

Good for

  • A talk or tutorial beside the code you are trying it on
  • A live stream in a corner of the canvas while you work

How to add it

Pick YouTube in the Panel Library and paste a video or playlist link on its setup page, or try the example in one click. A pin made there keeps the link, so the right-click menu opens that exact video.
