Talk to Deska
Voice is now the front door to the assistant, not a side dictation box. A voice center sits at the bottom of the canvas where you can type or talk: speak a question and Deska answers, speak a task and an agent runs it, with a soft ambient glow that pulses while it listens. Every dictation is still kept in a searchable catalog.

Deska on the web & your phone
A companion app on the web at app.deska.dev and on your phone lets you reach a terminal, peek at a running dev server, or ask Deska to do something — connected back to the machine where the work lives. Pair a computer once with a code and it shows up wherever you sign in.

Find anything, fast
One keystroke — Cmd/Ctrl+K — now searches across commands, your files by name and content, open panels, terminal scrollback and settings at once. Press Tab and the same box hands your words to an agent instead.

A redesigned canvas
The on-screen controls moved out of the way: a vertical build rail on the left for spawning panels, a navigation cluster bottom-right that pairs the minimap with a zoom pill, and the voice center in the middle. A new workspace overview (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+P) shows every project as a live mini-canvas, and optional snapshots let you scrub the canvas back in time.

A deeper agent
The Agent panel gained adjustable reasoning effort, tool-approval cards with an auto-approve option, one-at-a-time steering, auto-compaction for long threads, and a live view of tokens and cost. Ask Deska can now see and operate your whole canvas — open and close panels, read them, run commands and hand work to agents.
